My summer's been miserable. I've no friend to talk to because my best friend suddenly doesn't want to be friends anymore, and finds it more interesting to be around all the mean girls that she used to hate. Won't tell me why. We've been best friends since we were about 7 and 5 years old.
Plus, my family and I didn't get to go anywhere for a vacation. Not even to any local places!
And it's hot outside and very humid. It's about 103 out there. Yuck!

I wish I had better news. But that's the run-down of my whole summer.

I sure can! It's Maria's Uncle's dog Wrolf's name, who really happens to be a big sweet lion like Aslan! ;D
I got my driver's license today! Passed the test on the first try! God's so AWESOME!!!
I'm so very relieved! Poor girl before us was getting her learner's permit, and she was so nervous that her stomach hurt and she had her head in her hands.  I smiled to her in encouragement, and I hope that it helped her.  I think that she passed for the pemit....I felt so sorry for her, because I remember how hard it was to take the written test myself.

That's supposed to have been spelled, P-E-R-M-I-T. Just now noticed that I spelled it without the R. LOL! I must have been protein deprived that day.

How has everyone been these past few weeks? I'm excellent! Had a great time at church tonight. Can't wait to see my group again; they're lots of fun. :D

I've been having some doubts about my Christianity at the moment... I don't really know where my identity stands :(

I want to beleive in God and be in his arms, but there are just so many other things that keep on making me think... Do I really beleive this? Should I? Things just seem to be contradicting themselves at the moment, I feel like my identity is in many different places at once, I want to make up my mind but don't know what way to go...

If I decide that I'm an athiest I will not want to tell my church, which will just make me even guiltier, and, because he's an athiest, my dad will do the whole "I told you so" thing. And my mum would be dissapointed, she says she doesn't want me to be a sceptic like my dad.

But then if I decide to remain Christian I will feel out of place, as I have those nagging doubts.

Can I really accept that thereis a supernatural deity out there, without the remotest bit of proof? I wouldn't beleive that the sun would implode next week if someone told me, but surely that is just as, if not more valid as saying a supernatural deity exists, proof-wize. I already lost faith in the Bible months ago, and if I don't beleive in that, what Christian does that make me? When I feel the prescence of God, or anything else, how do I know that's not just my mind?

Even before I had these doubts I was a fan of Hawkins and Hitchens also (both famous athiests). But now what they are daying is making sense to me.

Is it close minded, or silly tothink that, out of every piece of matter in the Universe, there is a God that loves me? and how can that love work? Love comes from a part of the brain. If that part misfunctions, or stops working, the peron cannot love. So how can something not limited to a human body love in the way we do? Am I just giving myself false hope of something after death, and that there is somebody there who loves me and cares an=bout me, is omripresent and omnipotent?

Sorry for the depressing-ness, I just needed someone to talk about it too, to get off my chest if you understand.
Thanks for bearing with me and being someone to talk to!

Sweetie, satan is trying to make you renounce the Love of God. The doubt you are feeling is what the devil wants you to have so you'll give up and start trying to make it on your own.
Please don't give up on God. He loves you so much that He sent His Son to die for you. ("For God so loved the world, that He gave His One and Only Begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life." --John 3:16).
("Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil, cling to what is good."--Romans 12:9).
The reason that you feel out of place is because your spirit in Christ cannot find common ground with any unbelievers. Darkness and Light don't mix. ("Do everything without arguing or complaining, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God, without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe."--Phillipians 2:15.) And, "There is no difference between Jew and Gentile-- the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on Him, for, "Everyone who calls on the Name of The Lord will be saved."--Romans 10:12-13.) If you feel alone and don't recognize His presence, then it's time you called out to Him and ask for help. ("Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the Word of Christ."--Romans 10:17).

You're not a nobody. "(No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the Love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."--Romans 8:37-38.) "We know that we are children of God, and that the world is under the control of the evil one. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him who is true. And we are in Him who is true---even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life."--1 John 5:19-20).

You said that you needed to get something off your chest. It sounds like you're about to give up all hope. Please don't give up! ("The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me. For everthing that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope."--Romans 15:3-4).
("May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."--Romans 15:13).

("This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world."--1 John 4:2-3.)

You are afraid that remaining a Christian will make you feel out of place. And that there will be nagging doubts in your mind. So the main thing that you are facing is fear. ("God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. In this way, love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgement, because in this world we are like Him. There is NO FEAR in love. But PERFECT love DRIVES OUT fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because He first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God', but hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen.''--1 John 4:16-20).

"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us---whatever we ask--we know that we have what we asked of him."--1 John 5:14-15.)

Please listen to these words and seek Christian Counseling so you won't feel as though you are alone in this. "And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."--Matthew 28:20).

Jer 31:3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, [saying], Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.

Jer 1:5 "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart"

You are precious to Him, and He loved you before you even knew Him, so He hasn't stopped loving you while you are doubting.

Even King David, who the Bible tells us was a man after God's own heart, had to continually remind his soul to praise God and remind it not to forget all His benefits.  He was always telling his soul reasons to give thanks and praise the Lord, because apparently his soul wasn't doing it, so he had to say, "Hey, Soul, praise God some more! Don't forget!"

Just because you are having doubtful thoughts, that doesn't mean that you are falling away, it just means that you are under attack, because the enemy can put those thoughts into your mind.  You don't have any control over who comes up and knocks on your door, but you don't have to let everyone in.  How you entertain those thoughts, like you would entertain a guest (who turned out to be an enemy spy!), is what matters.  If you invite them in and make them comfortable and want them to stay longer, they can take over your mind.  Instead, "2 Cor 10:5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."  You can reject the unwanted guest OR thought!  If you feel guilty about the thoughts you've been having, just say, "I reject that thought and I take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ"  Saying it out loud over again helps, because faith comes by hearing the word of God!

You are under attack because the enemy doesn't want you to love God.  2 Cor 10:3,4  For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

You are not alone in this battle, the authors of the books of the Bible had to fight the same battle too.  See how Paul admitted he had fought the fight too?

1Ti 6:12 Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
2Ti 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished [my] course, I have kept the faith:

...and here, where it is as though someone is trying to take something away from you, yank it out of your hands, and you have to Hold Fast to it!...

Hbr 10:23   Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for He [is] faithful that promised;)

You are not alone!  Everyone has to fight this battle at some point, so don't give up!

***************
Michael W Smith wrote this song "End of the Book" on his II album:

On the day
You were saved
Heaven and hell marked you down
Angels praise
Devils raged
Life became a battleground
So when hell starts to move
And the enemy marches on you
Hang on, it's a fight
You've been marked by the army of night
You're a target

When your heart
Loved the dark
Hell could just leave you alone
With your life
Filled with light
You have become quite a foe

So when hell starts to move
And the enemy marches on you
Hang on, it's a fight
It's a battle of darkness and light

Chorus:
When things get bad and you can't stand to look
It's time to read to the end of the book
Don't put it down 'til you get to the end
When jesus come and his kingdom begins
'til he comes
God the son
Teaches us to use the sword
And every fight
Has a light
When you know we win the war

So when hell starts to move
And the enemy marches on you
Hang on, it's a fight
You're a part of the army of light

(Chorus)
***************

Please re-read "Eph 6:10-18 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.   Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.   For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.   Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.   Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,  and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.   In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.   Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.   And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints." (...notice it says "extinguish" flaming arrows?  if the shield of faith is so wet from the washing of the water of the Word, then the arrows don't just bounce off the shield, their fire is even put out so that they can't do damage anywhere else!)

(I know this is talking about husbands and wives, but it demonstrates the importance of hearing God's Word, it will keep your shield wet):
"Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her  26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,  27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless."   (...we all make up the church, and none of us are perfect, so Jesus has to wash it all away)

"Rom 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind."  (notice it says renewing, like it is a continual thing!  We have to be transformed daily, keep our minds renewed with His Word!  Be encouraged, we are fighting with you!)

I am praying for you, sister. Don't give up!

Alright. Is there anyone out there that can talk? I've been having one sided conversations since October. Please feel free to join in, someone. It's boring on here, and I need to talk to somebody before I go insane. *Eyes go crossed*

I did. I was thinking about all that God has done for me and grateful that He sent His Son to die for me so that I can live with Him forever. I had an inner peace and joy all day.

It was really great! We went to Havana for a couple of days, then Cayo Coco where the beaches are. It was great fun!

I have loads of exams at the moment :( . Just did an RE (Religious education) one on Tuesday, and have science ones next week. RE's pretty easy though, and I enjoy the topic anyway and usually find myself writing essays about it in my spare time (I love debating about stuff like that!)

I just can't wait until we finish these exams and start evolution and genetics in science :) !

Just did my Chemistry exam! It went really well, I love chemistry. Once you know the rules, it's fine! But I still can't wait for biology! I've been really into reading books about stuff like that lately, so it will be nice to actually learn about it at school as well!
